Ekaterina Boldinova joined the firm as a partner and the Head of the Tax practice in 2019.

Ekaterina has significant experience of legal practice and a status of attorney-at-law which allow her to provide full range of legal services related to taxation and currency control to business and individuals. Here is a list of Tax practice services:

• Advising clients on various issues of tax law (including transfer pricing, legislation on controlled foreign companies (CFC), the application of various tax incentives);
• Transactions structuring;
• Creation and coordination of activities of consolidated groups of taxpayers;
• Maintenance of field tax audits;
• Challenging the results of on-site and off-site tax audits at higher tax authorities and courts;
• Accompanying the interrogation in the framework of tax control by attorney-at-law;
• Advising on the application of currency legislation, drawing up notifications on opening/closing accounts in banks outside the Russian Federation, drawing up reports on cash flows on such accounts in banks

Mrs. Boldinova graduated, with honors, Baikal State university of Economy and Law (the city of Irkutsk) and started her legal practice in 2004. Also Mrs. Boldinova has a LLM degree (International Business Law) of the University of London.

Before joining the firm, Mrs. Boldinova headed the tax practice of Tilling Peters and also worked in various international law and consulting companies, including EY (Ernst&Young), YUST Law Firm and Pepeliaev, Goltsblat&Partners, as well as Rostelecom.

She is a native Russian speaker and speaks fluent English and speaking French.
